This set arrives with all the cups in their own plastic wrap and it's fun to play with them. They are 8 oz as advertised, but I hope you know that really isn't much as cups go. There is a rim retainer, so the rim is kept firm for drinking and handling. They pop out in a fun way and don't smell of anything I can smell. However, they are a bit of a puzzle to get back folded flat. The pleats do not always go the way they should and you end up with folds folding the wrong way. After a bit, you learn some tricks, but it takes a bit. I can imagine a contest with a den of Cub Scouts popping out, drinking a cup and folding them back. Fun, if you are up for it.

These will easily fit in a pocket, tho and are crazy light.
