South Shore Step One Twin Platform Bed - Review

This would be a nice bed IF we could find a twin mattress to fit the platform bed. We went and bought a regular twin mattress, brought it home and put it on the platform. To our surprise the mattress did not fit. The mattress didn't cover the platform in length or width. We took the mattress back and decided to measure before we bought another one. Amazingly all of the twin mattresses (in a well established mattress store) were different sizes! The range was anywhere from 1 to 3 inches difference. Of course with this type of bed, it is important that the mattress cover the platform. After measuring all of the twin mattresses in the store, NONE of them were big enough to cover the platform. The twin XL is too long and not wide enough.

I read the reviews before I bought the bed, and did not see that anyone else had this problem. The bed is definitely put together correctly. I wonder if the bed we got was defective, but regardless we were not paying to ship it back and are now stuck with the bed and can't use it. A full size mattress is too big, a twin is too small. Very disappointed, because this had the potential to be the perfect bed.

Victoria Classics Jardin 8-Piece Comforter Set, King Review

I was a little worried about purchasing a comforter set online. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to feel it or really be able to see all the detail.

This comforter however I was really impressed with. I thought the chocolate was going to be darker then it is however its fine that it's not as dark as I expected. I still like the color and like the way it looks. I like the fact that I was able to purchase my sheets and curtains prior to getting this comforter without having to worry if the blue color I was getting was going to match. The pattern on the comforter includes many different shades of blue so it looks perfect and doesn't look too matchy matchy which I like.

Now let me talk about how freaking soft the thing is! We have 2 cats that wont get off the bed now. Not that it's a bad thing however one of them does shed and it will show her white hair all over it. We have battled this by putting a throw at the of the bed where she lays and no more worry about cat hair sticking to the bed.

Once again we were really pleased with this purchase.
