I rarely rate items...but in this case, I am so irate that I will do everything I can to prevent other shoppers from making the mistake I did.

We purchased 4 of these Venus barstools 2 1/2 years ago - primarily because they are adjustable. The visual appearance is very good...but the quality of the "gas lift" air cylinder is poor. Two of these gas lifts have failed. I have contacted Hillsdale furniture direct, and was that these chairs are now made by a new manufacture...and parts are not available for our barstools. (I have the email)

This means that we basically have to throw out our chairs and start over. (over $600 invested)

Do not buy...unless you only need your chairs to last 2 years!

I was given some of these cups by the chef at our colf club and fell in love with them. At a Brunch, Luncheon, or Coffee Hour, these wrappers present your muffins and cupcakes in a fresh way. They look nice on a display all by themselves or as a mix with other items (sliced quick breads etc.) I went to Amazon to purchase more of them and was very interested in the medium size because I have muffin pans in the medium size. I can't fine the medium size am very disappointed that you have to buy $130 worth of the large size. At present I am looking for someone to share an order - and that is my only negative.

The chef has only red ones and they look nice, but I prefer the white cups. The other great feature about these lotus cups is that they fit perfectly into a muffin tin leaving nothing to wash. They are also easier to peel off the muffin or bread than a pleated muffin or cupcake liner.

I entertain a lot and hope that I can find the medium size somewhere in this item by Hoffmaster. The club's chef has informed me that their restaurant supplier no longer carries this line.

But the quality is typical IKEA quality. It's easy to break or chip... so be careful while assembling.
