We got this carpet to make a nice contrast to our dark hardwood floors. It looks very nice, it's thick and luxuriant. We really wanted to like it and keep it.

Unfortunately the problem was that it constantly shed fiber dust. Every day the room would be filled with this ugly light colored fiber dust. After we cleaned it, more would be back in hours. If we sat or lied on the carpet, we would stand up covered in fibers.

We thought that there may just be loose fibers because the rug was new so we tried to vacuum them all out. We vacuumed it slowly 10 times. It completely filled our vacuum with fiber dust each time, and the problem was no less afterwords. We had to return it.
