I bought this for my daughter's room and it's just as adorable as it looks. She thinks so, too. However, you really need to look at the specs because it is much shorter than I think it appears to be in the picture. Also, do not buy this version of the book shelf, save your money and buy the one that costs about 20 dollars less. I got this one because I thought it would come with a backing of some kind, even if it was cardboard. It does not come with any type of backing, so you have to make sure it's up against the way well or things will fall behind it. Like I said, it is identical to the other version of this book shelf that does NOT show a backing in the picture. I paid an extra 20 dollars for nothing, so save yourself some money and get the other one. Otherwise, I think it is a bit over-priced in general, but everything is nowadays. Definitely of pretty good quality and beautifully made, just not any different than the one here: Book Shelf - Garden Collection
