I own three of this heater and have used the first one for two winters. I have used other heaters but I find this is the best.

Firstly, I need the feature of setting desired temperature. That is, the heater must be able to detect the room temperature and shuts off automatically when the desired temperature is reached and turns on automatically when the temperature drops to 1-2 degrees below the desired temperature. I live in the desert area and the outdoor temperature can vary by 20 degrees during the night, so this feature is essential for me.

Secondly, this model measures the room temperature accurately. Two weeks ago, I needed a third heater in my house. I could not find the DeLonghi model from local stores so I bought a Honeywell oil-filled heater with the same feature from a local Home Depot store. However, the thermometer in the Honeywell unit is inaccurate. It would display 62 degrees when the room is actually 70 degrees, which renders the temperature-control feature practically useless. I returned the Honeywell unit to the store and purchased the DeLonghi model from an online store.

For some reason, the first two heaters of this model that I bought were marketed under the Kenwood brand and the model number has an K at the end so it goes like EW7507EBK. The DeLonghi model (EW7507EB) is essentially the same product except that the control panel of the Kenwood model is grayish in color instead of black.

The reason that I do not give five stars is that the remote control is too awkward to use. I rarely use the remote control but since it is a feature of the product that the user has to pay for it, I take one star off. Overall, I am satisfied with this product and would recommend it to my friends.
