These are super soft and they wash great. They are very rough when wet but fresh out of the dryer they are super soft. Only draw back is they don't really fit today's taller mattresses very well. They are expensive but so comfortable. I do not know if this is true but bamboo sheets are supposed to help with shearing injuries with bed bound patients.
