This is my second Pearl Freestanding towel warmer. First one lasted 3+ years. A little disappointed but loved it so much I bought another. This towel warmer is 150 watts; most are 115 and not as hot. Towels are nice and warm, but don't expect hot towels. I put the unit on a timer. On for 60- 90 minutes before I normally use the towels and leave it run for an extra 90 minutes to dry the towels. Buy one & enjoy it, even in the summer.
