We are building new home, and - after ordering the cabinets - found that there would be enough room in the second corner cabinet to include another "lazy susan." The problem is that the cabinet we ordered had a shelf that would need to be removed before putting in the lazy susan (LS).

Our contractor was going to charge $440 to remove the shelf and install a new LS. The manufacturer would charge $434 to replace the cabinet with one that had a LS.

I decided I could keep the existing cabinet, remove the shelf on my own, buy this LS and save a bunch of money. For just over $100 and a couple hours of work, I've got a very nice looking, well-made (it's solid!) LS. Now I've not done the work yet, but installation looks to be fairly easy as long as the counter top is not installed first. I've repaired one old LS in a cabinet that was already installed and that took some patience, but the template that came with this and the reviews I've read tell me it should be just a little more than "a breeze" to install.

At this point, it looks like a real bargain on a very good (but not "high end") lazy susan.
